These ship designs have been converted from Traveller 5, as such the deckplans may not precisely match the Classic Traveller details but should be sufficiently close to be usable. Some features may not be present in Classic Traveller Little Black Book 2.
Using a 200-ton hull, the Gorami class ship is a customs inspection vessel. It has maneuver drive-E and power plant-E, giving performance of 5-G acceleration. There is fuel tankage of 50 tons, supporting the power plant. Adjacent to the bridge is a computer Model/4. There are six staterooms of which four are double occupancy. A barracks area accomodates two officers and four squads of five troops. Two beam laser triple turrets are installed. The ship has one 30-ton slow boat carried in a dedicated hanger. There are 4 tons of cargo space used for the troops store and armory. There is a brig which can accomodate four detainees. The Gorami class ship requires a minimum of two crew; a pilot and an engineer. It is typically crewed by two shifts of five not including the ship’s troops. The ship costs MCr 140 and takes 11 months to build.
Using a 600-ton streamlined hull, the TL-12 Echeni class ship is a medical support vessel. It has maneuver drive F, power plant-F and jump drive-C, giving performance of 2-G acceleration and Jump-1. There is fuel tankage of 180 tons, supporting the power plant for 3 months and 2 jumps. Adjacent to the bridge is a computer Model/4. There are 7 staterooms for 13 medics, 6 of which are double occupancy, the chief medical officer occupying the 7th. There are 10 staterooms for the 19 crew, 9 of which are double occupancy, the first officer occupying the 10th. A barracks area accomodates two officers and four squads of five troops. Two missile single turrets are installed, used primarily to launch sensor probes. An extensive sensor suite enables the ship crew to scan a large area quickly for life, contagions, power plants and radiation. The ship has an air/raft in a hold. The ship clinics can support 24 patients and a further 24 in medical low berths (low passage). There is a triage area at the main airlock. The medical staff compartments use separate life support to that of the crew and ship troop compartments. The Echeni class ship requires a minimum of 5 crew, a pilot, 2 engineers, a medic and a navigator. The full crew consists of first officer, 2 pilots, 2 engineers, 2 navigators, 2 stewards, 10 sensor operators, chief medical officer, 12 medics, 2 troop officers and 4 squads of 5 troops. The ship costs MCr 220 and takes 24 months to build.
